Student Health Services Will Resume in September 2023

Basic Needs/Dusty’s Pantry: Basic Need services provide students with information about community-based resources with food insecurities, housing, childcare, transportation, financial aid, health, and mental wellness so students can remain in classes to focus on their academic success.

YUBA COLLEGE IS A DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT

Drug Free School Policy

The District recognizes that substance abuse is a major health problem throughout the United States. Therefore, in order to eliminate abuse, the entire college community must be involved. Our single consistent message is that substance abuse is wrong, dangerous, and will not be tolerated. The YCCD has a “Zero Tolerance” policy: All campuses and centers are to be alcohol and drug free

Prevention and assistance with substance abuse may be obtained from one of the following sources:

  • Student Health Clinic and Well Center
  • . Al‑Anon is a mutual support program for people whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking. Alateen is a fellowship of young people (mostly teenagers) whose lives have been affected by someone else’s drinking whether they are in your life drinking or not.
  • . A program for those who know or have known a feeling of desperation concerning the addiction problem of someone very near to you.
